“When I was ten for the easter break I would…” When I was ten years old there weren’t many activities to do for the easter break. The cinemas and theaters were all closed or displaying some religious films. I would watch TV films where you could see “little women” or “Ben-Hur” or “The ten commandments”, mostly Charlton Heston Films. Sometimes My siblings and I would go along with my mom to church to attend a Mass. But we didn’t like it so much. However not everything was boring. I would join my cousins and we had a good time chatting an eating torrijas.

My favourite film For making this essay I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about which is my favourite film but I can’t pick only one. What I Know now is that there are several types of films that I enjoy the most. The firsts ones are musicals. One of my favorites is ‘singin’ in the rain’. It’s a film that always makes me happy when I watch it. I love seeing Gene Kelly dancing so much and the part ending with the three of them on the couch. The second type of films are those ones with 18 th century English people drinking tea all the time and hiding their feelings. But I’ll speak about it another time.

What shall I do once this is over Well, I must say that there aren’t so many differences between my current life and the life that I was living before these times of pandemic. While many things have not changed in my daily life, I do miss a lot of little things, but what I miss the most is that I cannot see my family and friends. In my extended family, we used to have at least one-party day a year. We name it the Zurdos’ day, because Zurdo is our lastname. We used to be forty or fifty people gathering for lunch, all cousins, their children, and even their grandchildren. We would come from everywhere in Spain: Madrid, Castilla y León, and Extremadura. We always had a very good time together. I also miss traveling a lot. We have friends who right now live in the US and they used to come and see us or we used to go there to visit them. But now we can’t do that. So, when this pandemic is over, I wish to celebrate its ending with all my family and friends. I want to have a gre
